We work closely with Local Highway Authorities on safety of the public and workforce being paramount whilst trying to keep disruptions to a minimum. Any works on the public highway are planned in advance.

Road closures are only approved when no other safe and compliant traffic management choice is possible. When used, closures will always follow compliance; with a legal diversion route, relevant safety measures in place and advance warning given to the Parish Council and local residents.

You can get the latest on what's happening in your area and any details of a road closure by any utility company or your local council by visiting Causeway one.network.

We’ll also use temporary compounds to secure areas where we store our plant, equipment and materials closer to the work site, to help minimise the construction traffic on the public highway wherever possible.

We carefully choose locations to minimise disruption to landowners, local communities, and the environment.

None of this work will affect your water supply or toilet facilities. But if you need to get in touch, or have any questions about our work, please email our dedicated mailbox: strategicpipelines@anglianwater.co.uk.
