We are beginning to plan our road closures for May, which means we are approaching the Summer Embargo season once again. Each council sets its own embargo dates based on local tourism trends.

Coastal areas, particularly in Norfolk and Suffolk, are typically the most affected. In these areas, Highways often request that works be scheduled during October half-term or after the tourism season slows down.

We will continue following our standard process, applying for permits, with Highways determining when work can commence.

Rest assured, we will keep you updated, and if these planned works affect you, we will be in touch directly.
